Bronze goddess changing into a plant sculpture

Najade is the goddess of all man-made sweet water channels, ditches and streams. Those are of increasing importance due to climate-change with more extreme rainfalls and draughts.  She represents endless fertility, if there is water something will finally grow regardless of the condition of the base (granite) “

The top is of bronze with a branch and leaves of the viburnum tree. The bottom part, the legs is of granite, with the viburnum leaves carved in the stone. 

The sculpture can be connected to a water circulating system to emphasize the relation to water.
